Antique French linen jacket with hand sewn Cretan stitch seams and feather stitch embroidery. Sewn entirely with cotton thread. Natural dyed with black walnut hulls and iron after pre-mordanting with tannin then alum.

Hand sewn layered linen scarf Two layers of repurposed white linen that was too threadbare and fragile to use in clothing. Trapped between two outer layers of linen gauze, one black and one dyed very dark brown. Hand sewn with cotton embroidery yarn.
