Costumes for 'ARC'
Costumes for 'ARC' by Josie Archer and Kosta Bogoievski: a movement response to ‘Drawing Room’ by Aaron Paterson, Sarosh Mulla and Marian Macken at CoCA Toi Moroki. ARC refers directly to the repetitive motion of ‘Drawing Machine’, which paces our Ō Papa Mair Gallery floor. Archer and Bogoievski, in costumes designed using only arcs and circles, will be conducted by the mechanical arm as they perform an orchestrated improvisation in cyclic rhythm with the machine.
